Interestingly, Inter Kashi have got a solid backing, as European giants Atletico Madrid, Inter Escalades, and Gerard Pique-owned FC Andorra have partnered with the Varanasi-based club. These European giants will eye to unearth great talents, groom them and scout some of the best Indian talents, who could put India on the global map in near future.

It also marks the return of Atletico Madrid in Indian football as they previously had minor stakes in Atletico de Kolkata before Lucknow Super Giants owner Goenka group bought the club.

The club has roped in Carlos Santamarina as their head coach. Further, the crest has a Shivaling, tripund, and the famous Kashi Ghats. If Inter Kashi manage to get to I-League through the bidding process, then they can also qualify for the ISL. The 2023-2024 I-League season will commence in November, later this year.
